Founded in 1996, the Franco-American Cultural Fund (FACF) is a unique partnership with the French Authors, Composers and Publishers’ Society (SACEM) and the two American guilds, the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and the Writers Guild of America West (WGAW), joined by the Motion Picture Association (MPA).

Its president is Cécile Rap-Veber, Sacem CEO and its honorary president, Costa-Gavras.

The Franco-American Cultural Fund (FACF) announced on 01/31 that The American French Film Festival (TAFFF) will hold its 28th annual edition and awards competition October 29-November 3 at the Directors Guild of America Theater on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood and will showcase premieres of French film and television series as well as industry panels for US and international distributors and the public.
