Didn’t make the trip in 2022? We tell you all about the 26th edition of the festival, which has confirmed its status as the biggest festival of French films outside France. The 2022 edition featured 75 films in selection, 104 screenings, sessions reserved for students and a special focus on industry professionals.
It was also the first for the new name, The American French Film Festival: hey yes, now we’re going to TAFFF!
TAFFF is open to all, with special focuses on film music composer Eric Neveux and producer Charles Gilibert, Q&A with the talents at the end of each screening, a debate in partnership with ARP on “Why choose to make independent films for cinemas in a world dominated by series?” and a workshop in collaboration with ELMA on “Foreign films and young audiences: a different lens.

The 2022 edition also included a number of events to get you busy, such as the remake workshop in collaboration with WGAW and Unifrance, the Warner TV/HBO Max industry workshop in collaboration with MPA, and the masterclass for students from UCLA, Chapman University and Pasadena Community College.
